The dear sister of a close male friend of mine passed away in January and being the sole beneficiary, he inherited all her estate and I in turn have been given all her jewellery, clothing and other things he does not want.
As she was a hoarder, there are loads of fine and costume jewellery, (some never even out of their boxes) which will be listed in batches or singly, as there are quite of lot of things to get through. Some items have her initials on which I will mention in the listing.
She was in her 70s and this is another Bear that was hers as a child, a well loved and fully jointed Mohair Teddy Bear which measures 16″ high. It has lost most of the hair and has been patched on the feet and hands, with a dent at the back its head. Not sure when the clothes were made for it but they are equally old. The nose is stitched and the eyes are glass.
There is wear and tear consistent with age otherwise the Teddy is still intact and all joints work properly.
