I believe this teddy probably dates to the 50’s or 60’s. He is approx 15″ tall. He has been very well loved and is going a little bald in places. The pad on one of his feet has a small hole in it and his head is stitched into a fixed position.The seam has been re stitched in the centre of his back and because it is very worn there I wonder if he was once a growler and somebody has removed the mechanism. The stitching on his nose is almost worn away and his eyes have been restitched in a blue wool. On his back is a name tag “Bates”. Sadly, he has lost touch with his old owner and is now looking for a new loving person to take care of him.
