Delightful vintage toy high chair which may date back as far as the 1940s. Certainly this is typical of hand-crafted toys of the 1950s.
Standing 24 inches tall, this item can be “folded” so that it is half size – a wheel and hinge system is used to separate the top from the bottom hald (see pictures).
The item is painted in white but this has begun flaking off and it is possible to see a pale pink paint beneath.
As it is probably hand-made and at least 57 years old, there is no CE safety mark and it would not be suitable as a toy for children.
