Three Vintage Teddy Bears – Wendy Boston & Chad Valley & Chad Valley (possibly). Condition is “Used”.

These bears have been with me for over 30 years.  I cannot remember where I found them, but they just needed a new home.  All of them are worn as you can see from their fur and paws. They are all about 12″ tall.

Pictures 2 & 6 are the Wendy Boston.  Interestingly, he is fully jointed with brown eyes.  I think he is plush. He is a lovely golden colour and in quite good condition. He has the typical Wendy Boston ears which are stitched as part of the head (“enabling them to be pegged on the washing line”!) His nose is a bit tatty.

Pictures 3, 7 & 8 are showing the golden coloured Chad Valley. He is fully jointed with golden eyes. I cannot work out if they are glass. His fur is quite good but quite flat on the back (Right on picture 5) and he has a label on his foot (picture 7) and one stitched into his side (picture 8).  When you squeeze his tummy, he sounds and feels as though he might have wood wool rather than polyester or such like.

Picture 4 looks like a Chad Valley and has the label on his foot (picture 9), but other than his looks, I cannot confirm. He is lighter beige teddy.  Although he is as tall as the others, he is smaller in body and head. I think he is mohair as he feels different from the others.  Again, with this one, I think his tummy is filled with wood wool.  He has hair loss all over.

They are really sweet bears but, as I have to significantly reduce my bear collection, they need a new home and want to go together.

Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. Looking at the postage, apologies, but the box could be just over the ‘small parcel’ size so I have to do a ‘medium parcel’ hence the 5.30 cost.
