Here for auction as one lot are two vintage Teddy bears. Found in a loft clearance.
Please see all photos listed of both of them as they are part of details for description.
The first one has a bell inside that jingles when moved. It is red blue and Teddy golden colour with obvious wear of age…and a bit grubby but could be cleaned up with a sponged wash! Maybe 50s or 1960s. Found together in a loft clearance. It has no makers name and feels stuffed with straw or similar in body and head.. legs are softer. One ear is open split at back but can be easily repaired. Non move able arms and legs. Quite worn. See photos. However a gorgeous ted all the same with lively worn appearance. He is about 14 inches tall.
The second one is a traditional type of bear with movable jointed arms and legs with red ribbon neck bow and pads on its feet and paws. He has a worn label shown in photo that says made in Britain by…? Count toy group? Its hardly legible and label is almost off altogether just held on by threads. It looks like an 1970/80s bear? He is just over one foot in height. I am not an expert as already stated these two found together in a box in a loft.
Both looking for a good home to be cleaned up and looked after a bit having spent years in the loft.
Thanks for looking!
