Chiltern VINTAGE TEDDY BEAR TATTYBEAR.
A nice 17″ bear with some mohair, he has obviously been well loved.
Possibly England or Irish made…no label.
Can’t make out a growler.
5 jointed bear.
He has loose leg joints.
Good original paws.
Solid straw / wood wool stuffing.
Amber glass eyes possible replacements as the knot is missing at the back of his head.
Replaced nose and mouth stitching….in my opinion.
No nasty smells, in my opinion he has a lovely vintage smell..if you know what I mean..
I have dressed him in a new red ribbon….to smarten him up.
He would make a lovely addition to a teddy ‘hug’.
