Meet Honey a very pretty Pedigree bear from the 1940s. She is 21″ tall and, although it is a little sparse in places, she does have quite a bit of her golden fur remaining. Her head, arms and legs are firmly stuffed, but with something soft, whereas her body feels more like wood wool or straw. She has a non-working squeaker in her tummy (where the seam is slightly open) and has her original paw pads, which look like they would once have been velvet (some remaining on her upper pads) but there are little holes on her left upper paw pad and right foot pad. Her eyes look like a lovely shiny amber glass but are actually plastic – they seem firmly fixed in, but I can’t tell if they’re original or not. Her nose has been neatly replaced with a black felt one, but I think her mouth stitching might be original. She is fully jointed and all are moving smoothly. She has a hump on her back. She’s wearing a very pretty peach smocked dress with a lace petticoat and knickers. She also has little knitted shoes. She has a little knitted bear friend who will travel with her, called Peachy. Honey really is a beautiful bear, who is looking for a new home. Really sorry, will only post within the UK. Will post on the nearest Saturday to receipt of payment.
