Meet Frodo, a very unusual and unique bear who is 18″ tall. He was made by an artist called Ivy Lane for ‘Extreme Bears’ as an Ooak prototype in 1978 – this is all written on his leather paw pad, so that’s the only detail I have. He has a charming little face, with an embroidered nose and mouth, large brown glass eyes and little ‘painted on’ features – rosy cheeks, pink inner ears and little stubbly dots where whiskers might go. He is fully jointed and all are moving smoothly. His fur is in excellent condition, as are his leather paw pads. He is softly but firmly stuffed in his body and head, with slightly softer stuffing in his arms and legs. His legs are permanently bent at the knees (he has long legs) and his long arms are very scooped at the ends – the scoop faces downwards. Frodo really is a sweet and unusual bear who is looking for a new home. Will post on the nearest Saturday to receipt of payment.
