Meet Bootsie, an old, unusual little black bear. He is 13 tall and he has a lot of his fur remaining (not sure if its mohair, plush or something else – feels similar to some of the Hermann bears I have, so he could be German?) His arms and legs seem to be pin/rod-jointed and attached to each other, as if you move one arm/leg the other one moves, too. Still feels like he has cardboard discs at hips and shoulders. He isnt jointed at the neck, so his head doesnt move. His foot pads have cardboard inserts and are then covered in a sort of beige felt (as are his upper pads) This felt has quite a few holes (see pics). He has quite a prominent snout, but no nose or mouth stitching. Im not sure whether his eyes are original or not – theyre small amber plastic ones. No hump and no squeaker or growler, but he is very solidly stuffed with wood wool, I think.Really sorry, will only post within the UK.
