This was bought for me as a baby in 1944 and has weathered with age.
His fur is a faded pale blue, both eyes are there and his nose, mouth and ears are intact. He sports a tartan necktie and poppy day poppies. His hands show definite fingers made from black thread. He is 35cm tall.
The fact that he is straw-filled is evident from the photo of the back of his head which is completely bald and has a 2cm hole. His back is largely bald; his arms and chest 50% bald; his legs only, say, 10% bald.
He makes an ideal restoration project or he can carry on as he has done, but sitting quietly in someone elses home!
