Lovely collection of vintage straw-filled toys. Circa 1950’s 1960’s I believe.
Brown, growling teddy bear, approximately 18″ tall, in good overall condition, growler works – is sometimes a little bit intermittent and quiet but he this is due to his old age. His head is floppy as his straw-stuffing has dropped in places. Ted has stitched nose, claws and mouth, fabric pads, and look to be original eyes. His eyes are a little bit loose. Flat hard feet. Teds brown fur is in good condition for his age Stuffing in Teds arms and legs has also dropped and bunched up a little. Lovely clean bear overall, some signs of play and age.
Ted’s friends include Brown Poodle (I believe Brown Poodle is a Steiff as she has the button in her ear), Dark Brown straw-filled Poodle with moving limbs (worn fur to left side of body, as in photo), Little Grey Donkey, straw-filled with lovely blue eyes and small old fluffy white dog.
Also included is a Steiff Teddy Bear Presentation Bag with drawstring top, in good condition.
Great bundle of old toys from a private collector, vintage condition.
