Vintage Steiff Teddy Bear with button 1950s.Can you give ted his new forever home!
Welcome to my auction I hope you like what you see – I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence – I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!
I particularly specialise in Steiff, Chiltern and musical bears but I also have other bears when I can source bears of the required quality.

If you have any queries about any of my listings, please feel free to ask!! ITEM DESCRIPTION Layaway available on all bears – please ask for details!! This is really attractive, vintage, German Steiff mohair Teddy Bear in excellent, clean condition, dating back to the 1950’s.
This particular bear comes from a pet free, smoke free home and she has her original Steiff silver script button in her ear.
She is made from a really nice, top quality grade of mohair in a lovely pale blonde colour with a heart shaped lighter face and she has 99% mohair coverage.
This bear is fully jointed – all joints are in good working order – there are no loose ones so she sits perfectly – there are no rips or tears to the mohair fabric.
This bear measures 12 inches tall – 10 inches in seated position.
Teddy has the most endearing original Steiff eyes and original embroidered nose.
The paw and foot pads are original and in good condition – they are made from felt.
She is totally straw filled as is correct for the 1950’s Steiff bear.
This is a superb example of a 1950’s Steiff bear, in excellent, clean condition and you can buy with confidence – she is a wonderful old Teddy with bags of character looking for a new home!
