Lovely old teddy bear hand puppet, made by the German company Steiff.
The puppet is made with mohair fur with a sheared mohair muzzle. The eyes are amber glass with black iris, the open mouth and inner paws are felt.
There is minor moth damaged to one paw which reveals straw stuffing, there is also an historic mend to the body fabric this is only evident from the inside.
He no longer has his Steiff ear button.
