I am offering a lovely, Vintage STEIFF Cosy SKUNK, complete with all ID’s.
The Skunk is made from black and white soft draylon fabric, and his fluffy tail is made from longer length, black and white synthetic plush.
He has black and amber glass eyes, and a pink stitched nose and mouth. His facial features are finished off with long, white whiskers on each cheek.
The skunk has black felt ears and his white front paws are also made from felt.
Cosy SKUNK has all his ID’s including his STEIFF Button and Yellow Tag with the fully readable number of 4920/22 and I have added a picture of this.
He also has his Steiff named chest tag, with the words ‘ Cosy Skunk ‘ on it.
This lovely Cosy Skunk was made for just five years between 1969 and 1974 and more details about him can be found on page 209 of the 1947 – 2003 Steiff Sortiment.
He is in very good condition and he doesn’t appear to have ever been played with. I believe he would be an excellent addition to any Vintage STEIFF collection.
