‘Sooty’ marking vintage bear.
Straw filled so very heavy. Still with its original growl. When bought, it was said he was a 1950s bear. No makers mark.
The arms, legs and head are jointed. This vintage teddy bear has a honey gold Mohair plush trimmed with black on the ears and paws.It has straw stuffing and a black stitched nose and mouth. The glass eye is black and amber. The other eye was chipped and fell off completely in transit. The bear will be supplied with two new eyes of the same colour should you wish to repair.
Vintage condition so there is sign of wear to the colour of the bear.
A big boy, he’s 24 inches tall.
