The lion has a hole in its neck where he appears to have been stabbed and by the look of it he has gone through major abdominal surgery or something, as there is a crudely stitched repair line, as you can see in the photo.
We have 2 little bears left over from a house clearance so are throwing them in to keep him company on the journey :)
