This listing is for a charming small 14 inch coloured doll.Made by Merrythought ,I have researched in the Magic of Merrythought book.And it reads the doll came from the Verylyte doll range only made In 1947.she was called Dixie and came in either brown or black velvet.(page 121book illustration 119.She is in reasonable condition,her face has large side glancing eyes,but most of her facial nose and mouth are not clear.Most of her hair is intacted but a little messed.good clear early label on foot.I do believe that she is rare doll ,due to only being made a short for a short time.All the doll is black velvet with squeeker no longer working.Posted with eBay for iPad
