Wonderful vintage and very rare 1920’s German mohair Puss in Boots.

Puss in Boots has lost a good lot of his beautiful silvery blue mohair but retains his original glass eyes, most of his wiry black whiskers and, most importantly, his fabulous orange felt boots!

Helvetic style musical squeeze box in his tummy ~ plays intermittently when squeezed.

Puss measures 51cms or 20″ in height.

Puss in Boots requires some serious TLC ~ the spring from his music box is pressing against his tummy and has, at one time, torn a little hole.

Shown in the final photo wearing a hat he borrowed from Paddington Bear, a swan feather lent to him by a swan and a blousey peach bow given to him by the Marquis of Carabas’ new bride!

This lovely old boy is featured on page 90 of Miller’s Teddy Bears book by Sue Pearson.

Please see photos as part of his condition report.
