VINTAGE TEDDY BEAR
We are clearing the loft out and found this lovely old teddy bear. But I don’t know much about teddy bears, I will just describe what I see. He is 16 inches (41 cm) tall and has a golden coloured mohair body. His paw pads are missing which reveal his straw filled body. He has a jointed body, so his arms legs and head can be moved to different positions. There is no label, but I was bought this bear by my Godmother who lived in Germany and I have loved it for 65 years so I know he is old. He does have a growler inside and this is working but a bit temperamental, so does not always work. So when you tip him up he makes a noise. His fur is soft and in good condition but his head is a bit wobbly. He has good facial features with a stitched nose.
This item has been well loved. He now needs to go to someone who will repair him and put him in their collection. He is from a pet and smoke free home. A great vintage collectable.
