Vintage old Teddy Bear Horse. Vintage Old Merrythought Teddy Bear Friend.Ned is the name of this one eyed horse who dates from the 1930s as far as I can tell..Not knowing too much about this vintage pony I will describe him as best I can. Ned stands at about 10 inches tall. He is straw filled throughout and has a good brown mohair plush coverage, and stitched features, though most of his nose and mouth is missing. His hooves are white/ off white , and the front left hoof has a small tear which exposes his wood wool filling. So he will need a minor repair there…Ned’s mane has almost worn away, leaving a few spikes of white fur and his tail is thinning, though in better shape.Ned has white cloth ears and hoof bases and sports his famous Merrythought tag on his belly.All this being said, Ned is still a handsome old boy and like any old fella just wants a decent retirement and a bit of TLCPlease do take a look at the photos as they also form part of the description.This item is not intended to be used as a toy, as it does not have the safety features associated with modern toys.
