A very sweet vintage Chiltern HugmeeTeddy Bear. With golden mohair.
One amber and black eye which feels like plastic not glass. One replacement small metal “boot button” eye.
Shield shaped stitched nose.
Jointed head, arms and legs. All quite floppy and loose.
Lovely bright golden mohair. Rexinepads with some stitched claws remaining.
Feels like all of him is stuffed with wood wool.
Approximately 15inches in height. Unpacked weight is 440g.
Unsure of exact age so please do view all included pictures. c1940’s maybe?
CONDITION: Well loved. Would benefit from a light clean. Seam of left ear has come unstiched just where it joins onto the head.Unmatching eyes.Missingareas of fur fromhead and also from most of his right arm. Area of rexine has worn away from right arm pad showing filling beneath. Slight “dip” in the middle of his tummy from lots and lots of cuddles.
Still a lovely looking “old boy”.
