This delightful charming old teddy bear is made of mohair and filled with straw.
He is definitely a ‘tatty ted’ and has been around a while and experienced a lot of play and love. We’d like to think that he’s been cuddled, played with, popped in a child’s pushchair, hugged at bedtime and perhaps even pulled along by his arm or head, in a loving way of course.
If you feel inclined to restore him, he could do with a new patch on his left foot. His head wobbles and you will see from the photographs that he has areas worn back to the straw.
None of this, we feel detracts from him charm.
