Looking to go out to pasture is this vintage Merrythought late 1940s/50s? stuffed toy horse.
Brown mohair (I think) with white socks, mane, tail and inside of ears.
Amber glass eyes.
Not sure what he is stuffed with – the body has some give – possibly Kapok.
The legs crackle when pressed so are probably straw or wood straw.
He’s getting on a bit now so needs a little help to stand up on his own.
There are a couple of small bald/thinning spots – one on his side and on a
much stroked nose.
Could probably do with a good groom.

He stands approx 24 cms tall x 30 cms nose to tail.
