A really lovely old large blue bear. You can still see the blue in areas that have not faded, he retains most of the colour on his reverse and around his creases. He has leatherette paws. The growler has faded and you have to tip him right over to hear a slight noise ( it sounds a little like a crackle in an old radio being tuned in or a dull creak) I believe this sound is typical of early bears ( later bears were fitted with squeakers). His body and head is straw stuffed and his arms and legs are stuffed with firm stuffing. He has no tears or rips but he has lost his nose. He is worn & faded but he is oh so charming. He still feels soft to touch and he is very tactile. His arms and legs move well and his head still turns with ease. A really lovely old timer who wears a very thoughtful expression. He is just waiting for a new home and I’m sure his new owner will not be disappointed.
