Here is a very proud, vintage / old wooden horse on wheels, pull along toy, circa 1930’s / 1940’s I would say. Our late grandmother used this lovely old horse to display her old teddy bears sitting on his back.
Horse stands at approximately 20″ tall and his base is approximately 16″ long. Handmade and painted.
In need of some tender loving care in his old age, has some knocks and bumps to his base in particular (please see photos). Wheels are rather rickitty and mismatched, and he ideally needs a little bit of fresh paint – but full of character and has been well loved by our family over the years. Nowadays my children and grandchildren prefer real horses to wooden ones so it’s time for Mr Horse to find a new home for his retirement.
Heavy parcel to ship but this horse will be well wrapped and shipped with tracking. (Selling complete with the horse riding trophies and rosettes in the photos).
