Ahoy me hearties !! Jump on board to find out more wonderful details about shipmate Sandy Shores. She is a wonderful vintage Chiltern Teddy bear dating from around the 1940s. Sandy has the most wonderful orange ish fur colour, her fur is synthetic, not to much has been lost on her adventures although she has lost a patch on the very top of her head ,as shown in the picture. She has a wood wool filling in her head and body, arms and legs are kapok filled. Sandy has the cutest amber glass eyes, plastic nose, mouth stitching is original. Her joints are all good ,head is a bit wobbly. She has her original paw pads, these are a little worn. Sandy Shores measures 40 cms and she retains her original Chiltern lable, but this is very faint and cant be read. This little sea loving sweetheart is lovely and clean, no bad smells and she will arrive in her beautiful vintage nautical polka dot dress and hand made matching polka dot hat. Non of the props are included in this auction. Please, please study photos carefully as these are part of the description. Please note that Sandy Shores is a vintage teddy bear so she is not perfect, nor is she suitable for children. Please have a look at my other vintage items. Thank you, stay safe ?
