On sale here we have a vintage, or possibly antique, teddy bear. The item appears to be of a monkey. It is in a yellow/cream colour. The item measures approx 12″ in length. There are no labels or clues as to the manufacturer of the item was. To the hands of the teddy there are two little metal hooks/loops. We believe this could be because the teddy originally had cymbals attached there. The arms and legs of the teddy do move a tiny bit but not fully. The mouth and nose the the teddy has been embroidered but the eyes are either plastic or glass. CONDITION The teddy is in fair to good condition. The wear may be age related or just through past use. To the area where the metal hooks are to the hands there are some tears to the fabric. There is also a further tear to the toe on one of the monkeys feet. There is slight balding to the face of the teddy but this is not much. The rest of the “fur” is just a little flat and out of place. So overall the item may need some TLC and repairs.
