A vintage, well loved teddy bear. The brand of this bear is unknown, however I believe that it could be Chad Valley? Approximate date is between 1930 and 1950. (Any information would be greatly appeciated!)
This bear has been well used and loved, and it’s condition reflects that. The fur is patchy, the face is squashed to one side and one leg has been reattached at some point. Despite this the stuffing is firm and the shape of the bear is clearly formed. There is also what feels like some kind of round object to the centre of the bear, presumed to be a squeaker/growler, however I have not been able to make the bear produce any noise.
Approximate lengh of the bear is 33cm (13 inches). Reasonably short arms in relation to the rest of the body?
