VINTAGE ANTIQUE TEDDY BEAR FULLY JOINTED GLASS EYES STRAW FILLED Circa 1910-30
This is a lovely cute Teddy bear..
He is desperately looking for a good home, with plenty of TLC….He has been around for many years, so now time to hang his slippers up….But not after a trip to the Teddy Hospital, to have his wounds dealt with, as you can see from the photos, he has sustained some serious injuries to his feet and right paw…With what appears the original leather pad to his left paw…
He is straw filled and has glass eyes..
There is a growler, I have heard him make a whimper, but alas doesn’t happen all the time..
Black stitched nose…
I am led to believe he was made during the early part of the 20th Century…..I think he was born 1910 – 1930
He would have had lovely honey mohair back in his teenage years, obviously after years of hugs and affection, his fur is running rather thin..
