VINTAGE ALPHA FARNELL 10″ TOFFEE BEAR WITH ORIGINAL HAT & SCARF A/F
This is “Toffee” a character from the 1953 childrens BBC radio programme Listen With MotherThis is the Alpha Farnell version made in 1960, although there is no labelHe is fully jointed with rexine pads and a stitched nose & mouthHe has a bulbous forehead and ears set wide apart on his headHe has a very very fat tummy! You can feel the squeaker inside but this no longer worksHis hat and scarf are original but the knitting has come undone on the top of his hat. His eyes are missing but could be replaced quite easilyHeight approx 10 inches
Condition – Toffee has his original scarf & hat, but his hat is worn and the knitting has come undone. Some light wear to his fur. Both eyes are missing. Light wear to paw pads
