Vintage 1960sstraw stuffed dog long haired large 10 25 cm terriertype toyThis is a gorgeous straw stuffed dog boughtabout 1968 mum thinks. He has quite long creamy/peachy-blonde hair, a short, perkytail & long-haired ears with short-pile plush fabric underneath and, beingstraw filled, it is a sturdy little dog. The face is very cute: big brown eyes,a dainty shiny black nose and a tiny red tongue- all in excellent condition.Under his chin it is also the short-pile plush and it is here that thestitching has come undone, though only for about an inch allowing the straw insideto be clearly seen as shown in photos. I think this could be quite easy torepair [though, as it is, it cant be seen when his long fur is over it and the straw is well & tightly packed in.] Has been stored in asuitcase for over 40 years, and, other than the little fault mentioned, I think is in really lovely, clean condition,as I have tried to show.SIZE: approx. 10 high – top of head to feet [25cm approx.]10 Tip of nose to just below tail7 wide across outer edge of front pawsWill send by signed-for or special delivery postage.
