Boots is a vintage small teddy bear from my own collection. He was made by the West German company Grisly in the early 1960s and he still retains his metal chest button although it is a little worn. Overall he is in very good all original condition.
The company was founded by Karl Theodor Unfricht in 1954 in Kirchheim Bolanden a small German town southwest of Frankfurt. The company traditionally handmade its toys from materials of high quality and all were made of the best German mohair.
Boots is wearing a handmade knitted jacket and scarf, a pair of old vintage handmade felt boots and a vintage metal Daily Mail Teddy Tail League pin badge all of which are not original to him.

Original felt paw and footpads
Head is firmly filled with wood wool
Body and limbs softly filled
Excellent covering of quality mohair

Boots is clean with no nasty smells and will be well packaged in a box and posted signed for.
He is a collectors teddy bear and is therefore unsuitable for young children.
