It is with deep sadness that I am having to sell most of my vintage doll and bear collection.Here for auction I have an adorable vintage night case dog who is in very good condition.I believe this lovely dog dates from the 1950’s. He measures approx. 17 inches in length and is made from mohair. He has hardly any mohair loss and I would describe him as being in very good condition. He has plastic eyes that are on the old-fashioned metal rods. Sadly his left eye is broken but could be easily replaced.As mentioned above the dog is actually a nightwear case and he fastens at the back with a zip which is in good working order. The dog is lined with a vintage silky fabric but this showing wear around the zip area and his ripped and frayed though the main body of the lining is intact and in pretty good condition.He is an adorable dog and needs to be displayed with some new friends now. I hope that someone can give him a new home.
