VINTAGE 1950’s GERMAN SCHUCO 5″ MOHAIR YES / NO ELEPHANT TOY – PERFECT CONDITION
A vintage Schuco Mohair Yes / No elephant.
Fully articulated toy with moving head mechanism operated by moving the tail. The head moves up, down, left and right.
Positionable wired trunk.
Grey mohair with felt ears, tusks and tip of trunk.
Glass eyes.
Circa. 1950’s.
This example is in pristine condition.
Dimensions: Height: 5″ (5 1/4″ including the ears).
Condition: Perfect, near mint collector’s condition. No loss of mohair. All felt parts and coloured details in perfect order. Arm and leg joints are firm and move well. The head mechanism works freely as intended. The wire in the trunk is intact and apparently not overused. A wonderful example from a private collection. Overseas bidders: Sorry shipping for this item is not available to addresses outside of the UK.
Refunds: A refund will only be made if I have made a genuine error in the listing and I accept that the item is not as described. A refund will only be made after the item has been returned (within 14 days). A refund will not be given if the returned item has incurred any damage. I have a lot of experience with shipping items to domestic and overseas buyers. My items are extremely well packaged and do not get damaged in the post.
