Lovely vintage 1950s old Englilsh Teddy bear, am not sure of the maker, could be Merrythought, Chad Valley or Chiltern. He is in good condition for his age, his mohair plush is not balding and he retains his original rexine pads. He has bent arms and good big ears. No operations to his tummy, although his growler no longer functions. Lovely stitched nose and plastic eyes. Head is wood wood filled and the boy is kapok filled. He stands 15 inches tall and his joints are all good. He has a small open seam to the top of one thigh ( see last photo) but otherwise he is a good example of a vintage 50s bear looking for a new home.
