Herbert, a companion to Horace (see my other listing). This is a vintage bear belonging to my father-in-law, and I believe dates from the 1930s or possibly early 1940s. I’m afraid I don’t know the brand, but he is 12 inches tall, with original red pads and black claws stitched on, large glass eyes and has his original wood filling. All joints are good and movable, and his fur is golden mohair in good condition. His nose is missing, but otherwise he’s pretty good for his age!
