This lovely old teddy bear was made by Gabrielle Designs during the 1970s (although only the remnants of his label are left in his back seam so unsure of exact year of manufacture).
He is a very rare Paddington teddy bear – he has a pitted black plastic nose – Gabrielle Designs only made a few Paddingtons with the pitted moulded nose when production of this lovely teddy started, before the nose design was changed to a smooth black moulded nose.
Unfortunately he has lost all of his clothes and wellington boots. He is all original with original orange/black plastic eyes and is unjointed.
He also has his original orange felt feet pads, the right foot has a hole in it. It looks like someone in the past has unfortunately tried to trim the fur on his right arm and on the top of his nose, which is also a little grubby. Otherwise he is in quite good condition and just needs some clothes to keep him warm.
