Unusual Vintage Plush Toy Elephant or Mammoth Soft Toy, Wood Wool Stuffing
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 22cm tall x 31cm long overall including trunk
ITEM DETAILS: This is an unusual, very old elephant soft toy which has glass eyes and wood wool stuffing in its head, but he has no label so I’ve no idea who made him or when. It also has what feels like a squeaker or growler in his back which is no longer working, and he’s obviously missing an ear. Also one of his eyes is damaged and he’s a bit bald in places, but much of his considerable charm and character remains, and I suspect he’s quite rare so I’d say he’s not beyond rescue. He’s exactly as he appears in the photos, and as always there’s a low start and no reserve so happy bidding!
