A lovely pair of rare early Koalas
The 1920s Koala is jointed,with movable swivel head,glass eyes and leather nose,no hair,leather little claws though missing one hand claw,visible hand sewn body with some visible wear and tear.
The other Koala is from the 1930s where they stopped using a jointed body and made them like a little starfish with arms and legs in that shape.He also is missing a claw on one hand,has black button eyes and a rubber nose.His little hair he has simply falls out on the slightest pull.Some sewing opened on his ear
Both little Koalas are very fagile and delicate and they havent been happy with the British winter.
Perhaps a new home in Australia!!
