Tux | 18″ c1930’s Diem Teddy w/ growler – Superb Cond Old Antique German Bear
“He can stand on his own, he’s all original, just wonderful condition!”
Tux is a German Diem bear measuring 18 inches tall, dating to the 1930’s.
He is a weighty bear! .. fully jointed with lovely fluffy clean quality mohair, all original pads, painted back glass eyes, and lovely facial stitching .. with .card lined feet meaning he can stand on his own unsupported! He also has a loud working grower.
He’s a lovely bear, with a pretty mohair and appealing look. I have never seen a Diem in such good condition – he would be a star of any hug.
He came to us dressed in his dapper collar and bow tie! .. so was clearly cared for and loved by his old owner, but sadly has now been left behind.
He originally arrived with 16 of his old house friends, many of which have now been adopted prior to listing, however some are still looking for a happy home, and will be listed separately.
