Tiny vintage old teddy bear. Small vintage panda bear.”Blossom” is an old little bear made by Chiltern probably in the late 1940s or early 50s. She is a fixed jointed, seated panda with an internal squeaker placed in her back, and lovely twinkling Amber glass eyes.Her black and white mohair coverage is very patchy with better coverage at the back , and a bald patch to the left arm. Her identity label is barely hanging on and her stitched features are starting to fray.Blossom sits at about 7 inches tall and would make a lovely addition for a collector of small bears, or as a starter bear for a new collector.Blossom does show signs of age and lovewear, and is not intended to be used as a toy as she does not have safety features associated with modern teddy bears.
