Vintage condition as shown; very worn but also very hard to find. In almost 30 years of collecting and full-time dealing (with an interest in both militaria and teddy bears), I have only ever seen photographs of this gas mask bag. Although it is worn and grubby, I think it would clean up a lot – the silver colouring from the bag itself is almost entirely gone and the strap has gone and been replaced by string. Zip is original and still working. I have never seen one with the Farnell label on the bottom. Some evidence of mild historic insect damage to felt – but I have frozen the item and guarantee it is now insect free. Approx 9″ in height. It came to me with this gas mask but I expect that, originally, it would have had a smaller one (or a Mickey Mouse mask). Sold as seen so please take info from pictures or ask any questions before you bid. Item will be sent insured.
