Small vintage teddy bear.This is Hilda and she was born in the swinging sixties!She’s a tiny bear, at about 10 inches tall, has a tummy squeaker, oatmeal coloured mohair, glass eyes, and stitched features. What makes Hilda rather unique is a flexible internal wire that allows her to be posed.Hilda is in generally vgc for her age but has a few holes in her paws, and her bottom paws are slightly age worn/ stained.There is some thinning to her plush at the seams, but remarkably good mohair coverage overall. Her lips also gave a couple of tiny holes in them.Schuco made this rare bear and she is featured in The Teddy Bear Encyclopaedia. Groovy !Hilda is a Collectable bear. She is not intended to be used as a toy, as she does not have the necessary safety features.International buyers are welcomed but please check relevant customs , import and duty requirements and restrictions for your country before purchase.
