RARE PINK – TINY 1920’s Schuco Mohair Monkey Teddy Bear – Antique Old Vintage
This is Blush. She’s an adorable Monkey Teddy Bear. She’s fully wire frame fully jointed (stiff head) and stands a tiny, beautiful 6.5cm tall! She dates to the 1920’s, is covered in rare pale pink mohair.
She has an original metal painted face, felt ears, hands and feet (one foot has been replaced). She does have some wear due to her age! and her mohair has worn and faded in parts but she’s just a lovely little monkey.
She’s just lovely. I adore teddy’s like this as I find it amazing they’ve survived all this time. She will travel to her new home in her antique slipper which doubles as her bed :-). She’s pictured here with her monkey friend Brush who will shortly be listed for sale.
I’m confident she will make the PERFECT addition to a teddy hug – and could even be a wonderful travel companion monkey.
