Very rare Vintage/Antique Merrythought Monkey Lawson Woods Comical Monkey c1932 Merrythought Monkey – Baby
The design was based on Lawson Wood’s comical monkey and was produced by Merrythought Brown mohair body and velvet character face, hands, feet and earsHe has a sewn label to his right foot reading ‘Made in England by Merrythought Ltd” Also has a set of clothes. Not sure how old these are or if they are original
He measures approximately 10 inches from head to toes Please enlarge and study my photographs as they form part of the description
Please note there will be a certain amount of wear commensurate with an item of this antiquity. Overall, he is in good condition
