I have for sale a beautiful rare bear by Johanna Haida. He was made in 1992 to comnemorate tbe 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s 1st voyage to the Americas in 1492. He is in excellent condition for his age and has a pull cord on his bottom that works his very loud growl! I don’t know how many of these bears were made as it doesn’t say on his foot label so this could mean he is a one off, but I’ ve never seen another one like him for sale. Johanna Haida bears are rare in the uk. They are normally seen for sale in the US or Germany. He is hard stuffed, as all these bears are, which makes him quite heavy, hence the postage price
