Wonderful 1920’s Deans Rag Book cloth dolls.
Known as Charlie Chaplin and Auntie “Dancing Drolls”, they date to the 1920’s, and were made by Deans Ragbook, England. They are cloth dolls, which are connected by their hands as they are dancing!
They measure around 13inches tall.
This particular pair are made more rare as they are in all original condition, retaining all items of clothing, ID to soles of feet, and also their card swing tag which shows their name “dancing drolls”.
It’s incredible to think they will soon be a century old!
They would make a lovely addition to any Chaplin, doll, or teddy bear collection.
