Oskar is a delightful antique Strunz Teddy bear c1907 measuring approx 17″ with no less than 90% of his mohair remaining, with a now non working growler that clunks when he’s shaken. I have owned a bear almost identical to Oskar who still had a staple in his ear which was what Strunz used in the early years to attatch a paper tag. Paws and pads have been neatly replaced and stitching added to his nose. He ‘s stuffed with wood wool which has broken down over the years giving him a nice slumpy look.
