Meet EDMUND, he was originally a Blue Chiltern Bear, but the years of sitting in the sun sunning himself have taken there toll, and he has drastically faded in most places.

The joints between his legs/body and arms/body still reveal what a wonderful colour Blue he was, but like most old bears of his age he has lived a life, and most of his colour has faded to Beige, but the palest of Blue is still showing on his body, also under his arms and in places on his back and legs and back of his head.

I have tried to photograph as best I can his true overall colour which is now beige with the subtlest of blue hue.

He still has original rexine pads and glass eyes, his embroidered nose has had some work to it, as has his mouth, and he has been given a slightly lopsided mouth.

He has had repairs to the front of his lower tummy, it looks like he has been re-stitched up on the main seam in the past, he has also had stitch work done to the back seam and maybe a stitch or two to the top of his right arm rear seam, but his legs and majority of his arms are in original condition.

His overall mohair coverage is approx. 70% with most thinning on his face, tummy, right hand front foot and a little on his back.

I originally purchased him from a Teddy Bear Museum that was closing down as I wanted something a little different for my hug, but downsizing now means I have let him move on to pastures new.

He has lived a life and his condition reflects this, but never the less he is a Bear still full of character and charm, and I have bought him a new knitted Blue jumper to remind him of his past and to keep him warm while he awaits his next new adventure.

I have tried to describe/photograph his condition as accurately as I can, but any questions please feel free to ask.

Always kept in a glass display cabinet.

Height 21″/54cm approx

Weight 1.1kg

Many thanks for looking.
