Rare antique brass teddy bear button badge. These were made around 1907 at the height of the teddy bear craze during the Teddy Roosevelt era.
This button is as I bought it many years ago, attached to a wire. I have left it like this and used it for display with antique teddy bears. I would think the wire can be shortened or cut off if preferred. I will leave that to its new owner to decide.
Some darkening of the brass but still in good condition for its age, being over 100 years old.
Looks great displayed with an antique teddy bear!
Measures approximately 7/8 of an inch across. The length of the wire is 9.5 inches.
